Admission is via musical audition only (Primary Study instrument/voice). No academic entrance tests are required, though school reports are reviewed.
Consistently high academic achievement with a high percentage of A*–B grades at A-Level and Grade 9–7 at GCSE. Globally recognized center of excellence; regular broadcasts on BBC Radio 3 and performances at the BBC Proms.
Nearly all students progress to world-leading conservatoires (RCM, RAM, RNCM, Juilliard) or elite universities for both music and non-music subjects.
