Denstone College operates an inclusive Learning Support Department that aims to identify and assist students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, and ADHD, as early as possible. The school emphasizes “high-quality teaching” within the mainstream classroom, supplemented by tailored interventions including one-to-one or small-group tuition in the specialized Learning Support Centre, study skills sessions, and subject-specific booster groups. While the College works closely with parents to coordinate formal exam access arrangements and monitor progress via a dedicated SENCO, it is important to note that specialist individual support lessons typically incur an additional fee beyond standard tuition.
