Complete and immersive. The entire school is a dedicated provision solely for children with an autism spectrum diagnosis or related communication differences. Every learner has an individual 1-to-1 or tightly managed group setup driven by an embedded multi-disciplinary team of Behaviour Analysts, Speech and Language Therapists, and Occupational Therapists working directly toward individual Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) targets.
Candidates must have a formal diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or a related communication disorder, possess an active or pending EHCP, and live within a maximum 90-minute commuting distance. Entry is dependent on an official consultation issued via the family’s Local Authority SEN caseworker, followed by school file reviews and an on-site compatibility assessment.
Operates on a rolling admissions framework based entirely on seat space within specific age cohorts. Formal Open Days for prospective families are scheduled periodically throughout the academic calendar.
Rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted across all categories, with inspectors frequently praising the seamless integration of therapeutic intervention and individual goal tracking.
Upon finishing Year 6, students typically transition internally to BeyondAutism’s secondary provision (Tram House School in choice locations), or move into localised special educational secondary provisions or specialised academy units.
