Entry Requirements

The school follows a “gently selective” approach to match student profiles to the campus ethos.

  • Nursery & Reception: Non-selective. Allocation is based on registration date order and a friendly “Stay and Play” assessment workshop.
  • Years 1 to 2: Requires a taster day including fundamental age-appropriate tracking in Reading and Mathematics.
  • Year 3 onwards: Involves formalized assessment papers in Mathematics and English.
  • Years 5 to 8: Requires a full Assessment Day featuring English and Maths testing, Cognitive Abilities Tests (CAT4), a headmaster interview, and a school report reference.

Key Dates for Admissions

Admissions run on a rolling framework based on capacity. Assessments for standard autumn registration are generally structured across the preceding late autumn and spring terms. Early registration is recommended.
