At Bishopsgate School in Englefield Green, Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) provision is coordinated by a seamlessly integrated Learning Development department that supports a mainstream, gently selective environment. Under the guidance of specialist teachers, the department utilizes a collaborative “assess, plan, and regular review” pathway to identify and target mild-to-moderate learning differences, including specific difficulties in literacy and numeracy, executive functioning, and motor skills development.
The school follows a “gently selective” approach to match student profiles to the campus ethos.
Admissions run on a rolling framework based on capacity. Assessments for standard autumn registration are generally structured across the preceding late autumn and spring terms. Early registration is recommended.
