The Principal, Amy Cavilla announces, Radnor House Hits Historic A-Level High!
“We are proud of our students’ excellent A level results borne of hard work and their love of their chosen subjects. These will allow them to secure places at their universities of choice.
The A* and A grades are at a historic high: 28% of students attained AAA – A*A*A*A*.
Nearly a quarter of grades were at A*.
Just under 80% of all grades were A*-B. A*-A (47%) and A*-B (79%) grades are higher than in 2024, which were at 42% and 73% respectively.
Our value added score is 0.41 – which tells us that each A level grade is nearly half a grade higher than it might have been, based on GCSE grades starting points.
The school’s A Level results have been improving steadily year on year. In 2025, every single A level grade is just under a whole grade higher than in 2019. For example, a student who got 3 grade B’s in 2019, would get up to three grade A’s in 2025.
Congratulations to our students and thank you to our dedicated team of staff and our community of supportive parents.”
Following the success of the A Level results, today it was the turn of the Year 11 pupils at Radnor House Twickenham to celebrate another historic high.
The overall pass rate was 99.7%, with 68% of the grades awarded at 9-7 and an impressive 87% of grades were at 9-6. 21 % of all grades were a grade 9.
Principal, Amy Cavilla, was delighted with this historically high set of results, saying, ” The average GCSE grade was 7.15 compared to 6.85 in 2024 and a whole grade higher than in 2019.
Our values of excellence and perseverance are paying dividends. We strive to be a bit better every day and our pupils exemplify this.
We are very proud of what they have achieved, proud of our excellent staff and supportive community of families. Our young people demonstrate daily that they have so much more to offer than their academic achievements but they and we are pleased that their hard work and commitment has paid off and paved the way for their next steps.”
The school has a high success rate for university placements, with 86% of students typically securing their first-choice destination.
