Results

We are incredibly proud of the achievements of our pupils in their public examinations. The GCSE and IGCSE results below are testament to their hard work and determination.

Ibstock Place School achieved exceptionally strong results in 2025, continuing its trend of high academic performance across all examination levels. The school’s dual focus on traditional academic rigour and creative subjects was evident in their “perfect” subject scores.

1. A-Level Results 2025

The A-Level cohort demonstrated significant depth, particularly in STEM and the humanities.

1. Principal University Destinations (2025)

The 2025 cohort secured places at a wide range of prestigious institutions, with a significant majority progressing to Russell Group and highly selective universities:

  • Oxbridge Success: Ibstock continues to see strong representation at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, with recent placements for Mathematics (Oxford), Geography, and Human, Social, and Political Science (Cambridge).
  • Leading London Institutions: A substantial number of leavers matriculated at premier London universities, including University College London (UCL), Imperial College London, and King’s College London, across disciplines ranging from History to Design Engineering.
  • National Russell Group: The school maintained its track record of placements at leading regional universities, including Durham, Bristol, Manchester, and Exeter.

2. International and Specialist Pathways

Ibstock distinguishes itself through the diversity of its leavers’ destinations, successfully supporting students in pursuing both global and creative ambitions:

  • International Placements: An increasing number of students are securing places at competitive overseas institutions, including prestigious US universities such as NYU (New York University) for specialized programs like Musical Theatre.
  • Creative Excellence: Reflecting the school’s exceptional 100% A*–B success rate in Art and Drama, several students have progressed to world-class conservatoires and specialized art colleges to pursue professional training in the performing and visual arts.

We aim to prepare pupils for whatever exciting future lies ahead and ensure that they leave us as confident, grounded and happy individuals.
