Here’s what you can look forward to:
Kew College Prep operates an inclusive and proactive Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) framework managed by a dedicated Learning Support department. Operating under a graduated response model aligned with the 2015 SEND Code of Practice, the school prioritizes early identification and targets four primary areas of need: Cognition & Learning, Communication & Interaction, Physical/Sensory, and Social, Emotional & Mental Health. Mild-to-moderate learning differences (such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, and focus-tracking difficulties) are predominantly managed through high-quality, differentiated classroom teaching and small-group interventions, alongside Individual Education Plans (IEPs) designed to ensure all pupils can fully access the core curriculum and thrive ahead of their 11+ transitions.
Admissions work on a rolling framework. Core allocations for the 3+ Nursery program are dispatched and finalised in the Spring term, 18 months prior to the target September intake.
Extensively praised for achieving elite academic senior placement results without operating as an aggressively selective high-pressure environment.
Consistently secures massive volume offers at world-class day and boarding destinations. In 2026, Year 6 pupils secured 39 selective scholarships across academics, sport, and music. Major regular pipelines include Lady Eleanor Holles (16 offers), Kingston Grammar (18 offers), Ibstock Place (21 offers), Godolphin & Latymer (9), Latymer Upper (9), Surbiton High (11), Hampton (8), and selective state Grammar schools (Tiffin/Tiffin Girls’).
