Academically non-selective. Admission is based on a formal registration form, a taster day experience containing informal baseline tracking, a student interview with the Headmaster, and a reference/report from the candidate’s current school.

Operates a rolling admissions procedure throughout the academic year based on seat availability. Main entry points fall at Nursery, Reception, and Years 3, 5, and 7. Early submission is highly recommended for families pursuing boarding slots or limited early-years nursery spaces.

Results

Frequently shortlisted for national accolades, including Independent Boarding School of the Year and International Student Experience awards.

The vast majority of leavers (~90%) transition directly up to Eastbourne College at 13+. Other pupils routinely secure placements and scholarships at alternative premier boarding schools, including Bede’s, Roedean, Tonbridge, Cranbrook, and Stowe.
