The Learning Support Department assists students with mild-to-moderate needs (Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADHD). Support is integrated into the timetable through individual or small-group interventions.

Entry Requirements
- Assessment: Completion of an online adaptive assessment (CAT4) focusing on verbal, non-verbal, and quantitative reasoning.
- Interview: A friendly interview with the Headmaster or Head of Senior School.
- Taster Day: Prospective pupils are required to spend a day at the school to ensure a good social and academic fit.
Key Dates for Admissions
- Registration: Recommended by November 2026.
- Taster & Assessment Days: Held throughout January and February 2027.
- Offer Letters: Usually issued within two weeks of a successful taster day.
- Scholarship Trials (Sport/Art/Academic): February 2027.
Results
In 2025:
- 35% of pupils secured Grade 7 or higher (A/A*).
- 20% of pupils achieved exceptional value-added scores, gaining an average of +1.5 grades per subject compared to their baseline assessment.
- 40% of pupils in Mathematics secured Grade 7 or higher (A/A*).
For the third time in five exam series, French candidates exceeded their baseline forecast by an impressive two grades.
As the school ends at Year 11, students transition to top-tier Sixth Form Colleges.
- Primary destinations: Peter Symonds College (Winchester), Barton Peveril (Eastleigh), and Fareham College.
- High rates of acceptance into Level 3 (A-Level) courses at these competitive colleges.
